The thing was, my family decided that Utah might be a fun adventure for them too, so instead of my parents dropping me off at college, they came with me. They now live in Springville, Utah, a whole 15 minutes from their door to mine. But it has been great to have them close and still be a part of my siblings' lives. I am the oldest of 5 kids. Only one brother, poor guy. We all love each other so much and my parents are the best!
I met my husband Doug in spring 2011. We became an officially official item in August. Time flew by and it was the best semester ever!On January 11th, 2012 he popped the big question! I know what you are thinking, "that was quick!" But when you know, you know I guess. Why keep dating when we knew we wanted to spend the rest of eternity together?
We were married in the LDS Portland Oregon Temple on June 1, 2012. It was a magnificent day. Everything went smoothly and the weather was perfect. Which, by the way is pretty significant considering in June, the weather is so moody in Oregon. Some days are nice, some are so rainy and wet it is ridiculous. But we were so lucky.
In September 2014 we are expecting a little addition to our family. A little baby girl. We couldn't be more excited to welcome her into our lives and we know she will bring us so much joy.
This blog is just for fun and entertainment purposes. It is way more fun than writing in a journal every week. This blog is a place where I keep track to what we are up to, and what being newlyweds is all about. Enjoy!
